Starla Little is a freelance photographer currently living in San Diego, CA. She was born in rural Kentucky and raised in Alabama. Working in the fashion industry at a young age exposed her to many different creative people and encouraged her love for documenting life. As a high school drop-out, who battled homelessness and became a young mother; she feared creative outlets weren't practical pursuits. Encouraged by her husband, she started working as a model again and used her time backstage to fuel her inspiration. She fell in love with watching the moving parts of human interaction and listening to people's stories.
Starla is a self-taught artist whose photographic work is an expression of her creativity as well as a reflection of those she works with. She hopes to showcase the many facets and dualities that are intrinsic to life. She believes everything is interesting and captivating when its shown in the right light.
