Second Annual Baltimore Drag Awards

I had the honor of photographing the Baltimore Drag Awards again this year. Last year I relied fully on flash; this year I used a combo of on-camera flash and available light.  This years theme was "Metallic Mistress."

As always you can see the full album on Facebook, search: Starla Dawn Photo. I will share a highlight on my favorite images.

If you are wondering about the light leak and this "first of the roll" image, I opened the back of the camera because I couldn't remember what I was shooting.

Washington D.C.- Independence Day Parade

On Saturday my family and I hopped the Metro and headed into the city for the Independence Day festivities and while I won't go into the soggy details, I wanted to share my favorite shots of the fashions and fun of the parade. Luckily for everyone the rain took a break for the parade.
